As an F&B employee, you are responsible for the service in our F&B outlets, responding to guest expectations and desires. You are in charge of preparing and serving drinks and dishes, taking orders, noting reservation requests, and settling bills in the restaurant. You act as a host and advisor to guests.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparation: ensuring bar and seating area mise-en-place (stock check and replenishment, preparing necessary decorations and accessories, setting up and tidying up rooms, providing coffee breaks, etc.).
- Guest Service: welcoming and escorting guests to their tables, providing menu and drink advice, taking orders, clearing and resetting tables, being attentive to guest needs and wishes, addressing complaints, setting up buffets, preparing meals if necessary, making drinks, serving food and drinks, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Simple Dish Preparation: Guests who decide to dine at the hotel can order small meals in the restaurant, which need to be prepared in the kitchen by you.
- Cleaning: clearing and cleaning the bar, restaurant, and surrounding area, maintaining the bar, collecting and sorting empties, disposing of waste, tidying and cleaning workspaces and bar equipment after service.
- Cash Register: preparing the cash register at the opening, recording orders, preparing and checking bills, closing the cash register in the prescribed manner.
